Homecoming week always brings a flood of alumni back to UM’s campus. With family, friends, and former students bringing an increase in energy to the university, Orange Umbrella wanted to open its doors for guests to come get A Slice of Orange Umbrella.
The open house event kicked off with a presentation from some of OU’s directors, catching the audience up with recent facts, projects, and successes, as the consultancy continues to expand and looks toward the future. Next up, a panel of recent alumni from the School of Communication and the Business School gave insight into the life of a UM alum after graduation, and advice to help get a leg up post-graduation.
Guests enjoyed Kind Bars and treats from Jeremiah’s Italian Ice, took pictures with the freshest photo wall, and viewed videos and work from our clients. Centerpieces doubled as goodie bags encouraging guests to take home their own slice of Orange Umbrella.
The goal of the Open House was not only to inform alumni and guests about all things OU, but also to show how far the SoC has come, and the motivation driving so many of our students toward success.
