Separating fact and fiction at our social media bootcamp

Social media trends are changing the way businesses operate. In fact, managing social accounts is one of the most popular client requests. Looking to fill this request efficiently and effectively, students from OU’s strategy department hosted an in-person social media bootcamp for our client, University of Miami Libraries, who was interested in revamping the social media strategy for seven on-campus library entities.

On November 14, 2019, a “Slice of Advice” was born. Employees from the UM Libraries joined students in the Interactive Media Center for a 3-hour informational session. Throughout the session, a team of students and advisors pitched their tips, tricks, and tailored strategies to each of the different libraries. The feedback and collaboration made this one of the most successful events hosted by Orange Umbrella
